His vision was to create a dental practice equipped with advanced technology that is able to provide a broad spectrum of services at the highest level of quality. From young children to their grandparents, we see and treat patients of all ages with all varieties of dental needs.
Dr. Kevin DeGroot grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin where his interest in dentistry began early. His own positive dental experiences combined with his dad’s best friend being a dentist sparked his intrigue. He attended both undergraduate and graduate school in Milwaukee, receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry. After graduating, he moved to Madison with his wife where he worked as an associate dentist for 8 years. It was then that he decided to open his own practice with the belief that excellent dental care should be accessible to everyone.

I was blown away by the welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and overall efficiency of Lakeview Modern Dentistry. I felt like I was talking to a friend in regard to my dental health. Staff provided great education along with skilled dentistry. It was eye opening to see the 3D images of my teeth for the first time. For the past 20+ years when I've gone to the dentist I've had my teeth cleaned and then told "Everything looks good. See you in 6months." This was the first time since childhood any education and preventative measures were discussed. I loved learning more than "Keep up the good work!" Dr. Kevin DeGroot replaced a childhood filling of mine that had fallen out and was so skilled that I didn't even need to be numbed for the procedure. I used their online booking for one of my appointments which made it so easy to check the item off my to-do list. The face wipe and blanket offered are also a really a nice touch to make you feel comfortable.
Lakeview Modern Dentistry is hands down the nicest dental office I have ever been to. The ambiance is beyond welcoming, and the office itself is clean and up-to-date. Dental anxieties be gone—from the receptionists, to the hygienists, to the Dentists, all the staff ensure you are comfortable and they make you feel at ease. Zone out to some music, a movie, or a TV show while they work—it’s a great distraction for anyone with anxieties when it comes to going to the dentist. The tooth cleaning itself was gentle and pain free. This office also uses the latest and greatest technologies dentistry has to offer in order to provide you with the very best care. They are open to constructive criticism to improve upon your experience; however, I honestly cannot think of anything to better my visits at Lakeview Modern Dentistry. They truly are the best. You can be certain your teeth and oral health are in good hands when it comes to Lakeview Modern Dentistry. 11/10 recommend!
Wow! Just had my first dental check-up in 2 years, and was blown away by the staff at Lakeview. My former dentist had retired, and I was lazy about finding another one. I just picked Lakeview because I drove past their new building and thought it looked cool. I looked them up online and liked their messaging. The facility is beautiful, with lots of special touches, especially for kids. I got a warm neck wrap, tea and a welcome goodie bag! It was like going to a spa! Sharyn was so friendly and took her time to do a thorough job after my long hiatus! Dr. Kevin explained so many options to me based on my questions. No pressure. Just the options. I was really impressed! I totally recommend them. They are very family-oriented, with super fancy equipment.
